This patient complained of being embarassed during dinner with friends because her denture was loose. She used adhesives like fixadent but hated the taste. Even that wasn't as snug as she'd like. We decided to use implants to 'snap' her denture on and off. These picture are the day of surgery before and after.

Case Study: Immediate Cosmetic Implant
A nonfixable condition involving a tooth in the 'smile zone'. The only option is extraction and the patient doesn't want to have a 'gap' between her teeth. In addition, she refuses to wear anything removable. We agreed to remove the tooth and immediately place and implant with a temporary crown. All this was done in one day. The patient was able to return to normal activity the same day. There is a 4-6month wait for the permanent crown while the implant heals. During that time she can smile with confidence.

In the past, patients would have to settle for a removable denture or a large bridge that damages healthy teeth. With immediate esthetic implants the patient was able to leave with a temporary implant bridge that was similar to what she had been wearing. No taking it out! no damaging healthy teeth!
